About
Our Candles
Hundreds of hours went into the development
of each of our 25+ fragrances and it is one
of the primary reasons for the significant
differences between our candles and others.
Our production process is truly the perfect
balance between science and art. The measurements
for all our top-line ingredients need to be
extremely precise in order for the candles
to burn properly, but they also must be aesthetically
pleasing to the eye, to the nose, and to the
soul- art in it's truest form.
Only new fragrances that pass the strictest
of standards are launched, and only the "cream
of the crop" candles are made available
for sale. On any given day, it is possible
that we throw out more candles than we are
able to keep, but that is a small price to
pay for delivering consistently superior candles
for our loyal customers.
Here are just a few of the advantages of Essential
Radiance candles over traditional candles:
Burn both slower and cooler, allowing the
fragrance to scent the air more rapidly and
for longer periods of time
Burn cleaner and produce virtually no harmful
or damaging black soot
*
Hand-poured to ensure the quality of an even
burn and freshness of the product
Biodegradable and environmentally sensitive
Water soluble and clean up with soap and water
so the jars are re-usable
Produced from soybeans grown by American farmers
Do not have dangerous lead wicks
**
Great for decorating with the option of natural
wax color
All labels are easily removed leaving no residue
* About Paraffin
Wax
The majority of all candles sold today are
made from paraffin wax. Paraffin is the leftover
residue from fuel refining. Paraffin wax emits
11 known toxins while burning-- including
2 carcinogens, acetone and benzene. Petrol-Soot,
the black smoke that comes from these candles
is as harmful as second hand smoke and is
damaging to your walls and furnishings.
** About Lead Wicks
Although there is a ban in the United States
on lead wicks, some foreign manufacturers
still continue to use them. According to the
Environmental Protection Agency burning lead-core
wick candles can push airborne concentrations
of lead to unsafe levels. |
